Ingredients:
-Canadian Whiskey
-Pure Maple Syrup
Equipment:
-Oak Barrel (oakbarrelsltd.com)
Instructions:
1- Soak barrel overnight with water to allow wood to swell. Then drain.
2- Fill with maple syrup, let sit for a week, then drain (you now have oak aged maple syrup!)
3- Fill with whiskey of choice (being part Canadian I went for rye💪)
4- Let sit for 10 days or so. (I also added in some whole all spice)
5- Bottle and enjoy!
