Ingredients

Instructions

2- Combine with Liquid:
- Create a well in the center of the flour mixture.
- Into this well, pour 1/2 cup of warm water and 1 teaspoon of oil.
- Stir with the spoon, gradually incorporating flour into the liquids until a rough dough forms.
3- Knead Dough:
- Transfer the dough onto a clean wooden cutting board.
- Knead by hand until it becomes smooth and pliable.
4- Portion and Shape Dough:
- Shape the kneaded dough into a cylinder.
- Using a metal dough cutter, divide the cylinder into four equal portions.
- Roll each portion into a thin, oval shape using a wooden rolling pin.
- Poke small holes into each flatbread with a fork.
5- Cook Flatbreads:
- Heat a grill pan over medium heat; lightly coat the surface with oil.
- Place a flatbread onto the hot grill pan.
- Cook until dark brown grill marks appear on the bottom and the surface is golden.
- Flip using a black plastic spatula and cook the other side until likewise marked and cooked through.
- Repeat the grilling process for the remaining flatbreads.
