Instructions

- Soak the muskox for 1 to 1.5 hours to tenderize and remove excess blood.
3- Final Rinse:
- Rinse the muskox thoroughly under running warm water.
4- Prepare Vegetables:
- Slice one onion into rings to line the bottom of a black roasting pan.
- Chop carrots and quarter the potatoes.
- Peel and crush garlic cloves. Chop fresh dill finely.
5- Assemble the Roast:
- Place the muskox on top of onion rings in the roasting pan.
- Surround with potatoes and top with carrots.
- Sprinkle dill and garlic over everything.
- Season with garlic powder, pepper, and Montreal steak spice.
6- Add Liquid:
