Ingredients
🫒 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
🧅 1 Medium Onion, chopped
🥩 16 oz Ground Bison Meat, Tender Bison

🍅 28 oz Can Diced Tomatoes
🥫 15 oz Can Tomato Sauce

🧀 Cheddar Cheese, shredded, for garnish
Instructions
1- Sauté Onion:
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a Dutch oven or large pot over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until softened and translucent.
2- Cook Bison:
- Add the ground bison meat to the pot.
- Season generously with garlic salt, freshly ground black pepper, chili powder, and cumin.
3- Brown the Meat:
- Using a wooden spoon, break up the bison meat as it cooks.
- Continue to sauté until the meat is fully browned with no pink remaining.
4- Add Tomatoes:
- Pour in the can of diced tomatoes and tomato sauce.
- Re-season with additional garlic salt, black pepper, chili powder, and cumin.
5- Simmer the Mixture:
- Stir thoroughly to combine all ingredients.
- Cover the pot with the lid partially open to allow steam to escape. Simmer for approximately 10 minutes.
6- Incorporate Beans:
