Avocado Toast
Avocado toast is a brunch favorite thatβs simple yet satisfying. This version is loaded with flavor thanks to buttery toasted bread, a creamy avocado-cilantro mash, juicy cherry tomatoes, and a perfectly fried egg with a runny yolk to bring it all together.
Ingredients
π₯ 1 ripe avocado
π 1 tsp lemon juice
πΏ 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
π§ Salt, to taste
π§ Black pepper, to taste
π 1 thick slice of bread
π§ 1 tbsp butter (for toasting)
π³ 1 large egg
π 3β4 cherry tomatoes, halved

Instructions
1- Mash the Avocado:
β’ In a bowl, mash the avocado.
β’ Mix in lemon juice, chopped cilantro, salt, and black pepper.
β’ Set aside while preparing the toast.
2- Toast the Bread:
β’ Heat a skillet over medium heat.
β’ Butter both sides of the bread and toast until golden brown on each side.
β’ Remove from pan and place on a serving plate.
3- Fry the Egg:
β’ In the same skillet, crack the egg and cook to your preferred doneness.
β’ For a runny yolk, fry until whites are set but yolk is still soft.
β’ Season with salt and pepper.
4- Assemble the Toast:
β’ Spread the mashed avocado mixture evenly over the toasted bread.
β’ Top with halved cherry tomatoes.
5- Add the Egg:
β’ Place the fried egg gently on top of the tomatoes.
β’ Finish with a pinch of black pepper.
6- Serve Immediately:
