Ingredients
🌰 Enough Múcua fruit pulp to produce approximately 500ml-1 liter of strained pulp
🥛 200-250 ml Semi-skimmed Milk, resembling Pingo Doce
🍶 600ml Fresh Cream, Pingo Doce 100% Nata (use 400ml for a lighter texture)
🥫 794g Condensed Milk, Pingo Doce Leite Condensado
🍍 Pineapple, optional for serving
🍯 Honey, "Mel" brand, optional for serving
🍋 Lemon zest, optional for flavor
🥭 Passion fruit, optional for flavor
Instructions
1- Soak the Múcua:
- Place dried múcua pieces in a clear plastic container.
- Cover with milk and mix with a fork.
- Let it soak, allowing the fruit to soften thoroughly.
2- Strain the Múcua:
- Transfer the soaked múcua into a colander/sieve over a large mixing bowl.
- Use a spoon to press and extract the smooth pulp.
- Discard the seeds and fibers.
3- Whip the Cream:
- In a clean mixing bowl, pour the fresh cream.
- Use the Braun electric hand mixer to whip until it thickens and forms soft peaks.
4- Combine Ingredients:
- Add condensed milk to the whipped cream.
- Optionally, add lemon zest or passion fruit for a flavor boost.
- Mix until fully combined and smooth.
5- Blend Múcua and Cream:
- Incorporate the strained múcua pulp with the cream and condensed milk mixture.
- Continue mixing to achieve a homogeneous consistency.
6- Prepare for Freezing:
- Ladle the mixture into small cups or a larger freezer-safe container.
- Cover and freeze until it reaches an ice-cream-like consistency.
7- Serve with Flair:
- Once frozen, serve in a glass dessert cup or bowl.
