Ingredients
For the Seal Stew:
πΊ 1 Β½ lbs seal meat, diced
π§ 2 cups water
π§ 2 cloves garlic, minced

π§ 1 teaspoon sea salt
πΏ 1 teaspoon thyme
π 1 bay leaf
For the Fried Seal:
π 1 lb seal meat, sliced thinly
π’οΈ 2 tablespoons seal fat or alternative oil
π§ 1 teaspoon sea salt
πΆ 1 teaspoon Regilee's special seal spice
Instructions
1- Boil Water:
- In a large pot, add the water and bring to a boil.
2- Cook Seal Meat:
- Add the diced seal meat and reduce the heat to a simmer.
- Let it cook for about 45 minutes.
3- Add Vegetables and Seasoning:
- Add the garlic, onion, carrots, potatoes, sea salt, thyme, and bay leaf.
4- Simmer Stew:
- Continue to simmer for an additional 30-45 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and the flavors have melded together.
5- Finish Stew:
- Remove bay leaf before serving.
- Adjust seasoning as needed.
6- Heat Pan:
- Heat seal fat or alternative oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
7- Season Seal Meat:
- Season the sliced seal meat with sea salt and Regileeβs special seal spice.
8- Fry Seal Meat:
- Once the pan is hot, add the seasoned seal slices.
- Fry for about 5-7 minutes, turning halfway through, until browned and cooked through.
9- Serve Fried Seal:
- Remove from heat and serve hot, ideally with a side of the seal stew or fresh greens.
