šÆ 2 tablespoons honey

š 2 teaspoons dry yeast Red Star Active Dry Yeast
Instructions
1- Prepare the Yeast Mixture:
- In a medium bowl, mix the dry yeast with half of the water (150ml) and honey.
- Stir gently and let it sit for about 10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
2- Mix the Dough:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt.
- Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture and the remaining water.
- Mix the ingredients until they form a rough dough.
3- Knead the Dough:
- Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
4- First Rise:
- Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl.
- Cover it with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 to 2 hours, or until it doubles in size.
5- Shape the Loaf:
- Once the dough has doubled, punch it down gently to remove air bubbles.
- Shape it into a loaf or round shape and place it on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
6- Second Rise:
- Cover the dough with a dry cloth and let it rise again for about 45 minutes.
