Ingredients
🥩 1 kg beef Lean cut, such as top sirloin, cubed
🧄 8 cloves garlic, minced or grated
🧅 1 white or yellow onion, diced
🧂 1 teaspoon salt
🛢️ 700 ml vegetable oil, for covering the meat
🧅 1/2 white onion, sliced
Instructions
1- Preparation:
- Cut the beef into medium-sized cubes.
- Dice one onion into small pieces.
- Mince or grate the garlic cloves.
2- Combine Ingredients:
- Place the cubed beef, diced onion, minced garlic, and salt into the FULGOR pressure cooker.
- Pour vegetable oil over the ingredients to fully cover the beef.
- Stir to combine.
3- Pressure Cook the Beef:
- Secure the pressure cooker lid and set it over high heat on the induction hob.
- Once pressure is reached and the cooker begins to whistle, reduce heat.
- Allow to cook for an additional 10 minutes.
4- Reduce and Brown the Beef:
- Release the pressure naturally or manually.
- Transfer the beef and liquid to a black cast iron pot with red silicone handles.
- Place the pot over medium-high heat.
- Stir occasionally and allow the liquid to reduce and the beef to brown.
5- Final Frying Stage:
- Slice 1/2 an onion into rings or half-moons.
- Add to the pot during the final frying stage.
- Continue to fry until the onions soften and the beef is caramelized.
6- Serve:
- Serve immediately on a wooden, boat-shaped platter.
