Instructions
1- Prepare the Fish:
- Begin by ensuring the merlan fillets are cleaned, with head, tail, and fins removed.
2- Make the Chermoula Marinade:
- In a mini food processor, combine coriander, garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, cumin, chili powder, and lemon juice.
- Drizzle in olive oil and blend until a slightly chunky paste forms.
3- Marinate the Fish:
- Wearing gloves, generously coat each fillet with the chermoula marinade.
- If possible, marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours for enhanced flavor.
4- Bread the Fish:
- Place flour in a bowl. Coat each marinated fillet with flour, ensuring both sides are covered. Shake off excess flour.
5- Fry the Fish:
- Heat frying oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, carefully place flour-coated fish in the pan, frying for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
