π§ 2 tablespoons butter
π½ 1/4 cup cornmeal
π§ 1/4 cup water
Instructions
1- Prepare the Ingredients:
Begin by washing all the meats thoroughly.
If necessary, use a sharp knife to cut them into smaller, manageable pieces.
2- Start the Pepperpot:
In a large stockpot, melt the 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and garlic, sautΓ© until fragrant and translucent.
3- Cook the Meats:
Add the smoked turkey, chicken back, riblets, pigtail, and pig mouth into the pot.
Sear the meats on all sides until they are nicely browned.
4- Add Vegetables and Seasonings:
Incorporate the chopped eggplant, Chinese cabbage, papaya, running spinach, and okra into the pot.
