π 1 can (15 oz) Goya Mackerel or Paco fish in tomato sauce
π₯₯ 1 can (13.5 oz) Goya Coconut milk
π₯ 1 can (12 oz) Goya Evaporated milk
π 2 cubes Chicken bouillon or sopita
π§ 1 tbsp Butter
π½ 1 can (15.25 oz) Corn, drained
π§ 1 1/2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
Instructions
1- Preparing the Domplines Dough:
- On a clean wooden surface, create a mound with the flour and form a well in the center.
- Add the salt and melted butter into the well, and then crack the egg into it.
- Gradually incorporate the flour with the warm water or milk, mixing with your hands until a smooth dough forms.
- Knead for about 10 minutes until the dough is elastic.
- Place the dough in a bowl, cover with a towel, and set aside to rest.
2- Preparing the Guisado Vegetables and Seasonings:
- In a bowl, combine diced onion, peppers, minced garlic, halved tomatoes, and chopped cilantro.
- Mix in mayonnaise, olives, black pepper, and salt.
- Blend all ingredients well.
3- Cooking the Domplines:
- Boil a pot of water and add a pinch of salt.
- Form the dough into small finger-like shapes, known as domplines, and cook in boiling water for 35-45 minutes.
- Once cooked, drain and reserve some cooking water.
4- Assembling the Guisado:
- In a large caldero, sautΓ© the diced smoked pork chops until browned.
