Ingredients
š„© One 16 oz chub of Higueral Original Cooked Salami or Induveca Salami
š„ Trader Joe's Avocado Oil Spray, enough to coat the bottom of a frying pan
Instructions
1- Prepare the Salami:
- Using a Cuisinart chef's knife, make a slit through the outer edge of each salami slice to allow for even cooking.
- Slice the salami into medium-thick rounds on a light brown/beige cutting board.
2- Heat the Oil:
- Place a white non-stick frying pan with a wood-look handle on an electric stovetop.
- Spray enough Trader Joe's Avocado Oil to coat the bottom of the pan. Add more oil if a deep fry is preferred.
3- Fry the Salami:
- Heat the pan over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the salami slices using metal tongs with black silicone tips.
- Fry the salami for 4-5 minutes per side, or until each side turns a rich, golden brown.
- Flip the slices and repeat the frying process to achieve your desired crispiness.
4- Drain and Serve:
- Remove the fried salami from the pan and place it on a white ceramic plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
